Hezbollah at Beirut Metropolitan Archdiocese, Future in Bkerke: both keen on stability

Hezbollah's Political Council's Chief Ghaleb Abu Zeinab said on Tuesday that his party will remain keen on Lebanon's stability and will exert efforts to prevent any internal strife.

After chairing a delegation from Hezbollah that met with Bishop of the Greek Orthodox Church for the Archdiocese of Beirut Metropolitan Elias Aoude, Abu Zeinab said that Hezbollah will work on maintaining stability seemingly since political discourse exceeded the limits of logic and reason.

Abu Zeinab added that the current situation needs patience and stressed that Hezbollah will support the cabinet to prevent political void.

In this context, General Secretary of the Future Movement Ahmad Hariri and after heading a delegation that met with Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Rai at Bkerke, said that his party also remains keen on Lebanon’s security, adding that dialogue with Bkerke is a necessary procedure in line with Lebanon’s national interest.

Hariri stressed that the Future party remains adamant of preserving Lebanon’s unity and safeguarding the country against any external or internal threats.
