Mikati from Baabda: I hope to form a government shortly

Prime Minister-designate Najib Mikati visited on Wednesday President Michel Aoun at the Baabda Presidential Palace.

Following the meeting, Mikati said that he gave Aoun his proposals about the Cabinet lineup, revealing that he sensed Aoun’s approval.

“He made some remarks which I took into consideration,” Mikati added.

He concluded by voicing hopes to form a government shortly.
