Huge fire breaks out in Qobayat-[VIDEO]

A huge fire broke out on Wednesday in the northern town of Qobayat, devouring large swathes of lands.

This as Civil Defense head Raymond Khattar told LBCI that the competent authorities will investigate the reason behind the fire.

For his part, head of Qobayat municipality Abdo Makhoul told LBCI that the Red Cross evacuated children and people who live in the vicinity of the fire.

As for Secretary General of Lebanese Red Cross Georges Kettaneh, he said that 8 ambulances rushed to the scene of fire, adding that cases of fainting due to fire and smoke were reported, but with critical cases until now.
