USJ elections kick amid a calm atmosphere

The St. Joseph University student elections kicked off on Wednesday morning calmly: no political chants, no flags, and not even slogans were marked on the scene.

Students enter the university, vote electronically, and leave.

But despite calmness, political divisions were obvious especially in Huvelin which includes the major faculties of USJ, Business, Law, and Political Sciences.

Voting will continue until 6:00 PM, with results expected to come to light by 6:30 PM.
