On the occasion of the World Olive Tree Day, the Lebanese National Commission for UNESCO organized on Friday in cooperation with Bchaaleh’s municipality in the presence of Minister of Agriculture and Culture Abbas Mortada and US Ambassador to Lebanon Dorothy Shea a tour to learn about olive cultivation and its products.
Mortada said that we deserve an hour of joy, and we all have to rise above our interests, as well as embrace the truth in an environment of pure justice, assuring Shea that “the true giving is the one that has no purpose.”
