Sleiman: Parliamentary elections will be held on time

President Michel Sleiman said on Tuesday that "the parliamentary elections will be held in due time no matter the circumstances,: stressing that "he won't be signing any law to extend the mandate of the current parliament and that he will resort to his constitutional powers if need arises."

Sleiman also met at the Baabda Palace with Environment Minister Nazem Khoury, Industry Minister Serge Sabonjain, Lebanese Communist Party General Secretary Khaled Hadadeh and a delegation of the Lebanese Press Club.
