Lebanon and the IMF: Progress was made in agreeing on necessary reform areas

The International Monetary Fund announced on Friday that its mission in Lebanon had made progress in agreeing on the necessary reform areas, noting that “more work is needed to translate them into concrete policies.”

According to Reuters, the IMF indicated that “its team will remain closely engaged in Lebanon to help the authorities in formulating a reform program.”
