Berri expresses his concern over Lebanese situation

Speaker Nabih Berri expressed on Wednesday his concern regarding the wave of extremism prevailing over Lebanon and the whole region and stressed on the importance of dialogue to face escalatory speeches which are increasing tension in the country.

After the periodic Wednesday meeting deputies quoted the Speaker as calling on all parties to prevent these escalatory provocative positions and stressing that they are able to overcome this situation.

Also at Ain el-Tineh, the Speaker met with a March14 delegation comprised of MPs Elie Marouni, Joseph Maalouf, Marwan Hamadeh, and Samir El-Jesser.

The delegation presented to the Speaker the document issued by March14 forces after their meeting at the residence of MP Boutros Harb and discussed with him the electoral law.
