Al-Sayyed from Baabda: Continuation of caretaker government until presidential elections is conspiracy against people, president and tenure

MP Jamil al-Sayyed considered on Monday that the continuation of the caretaker government until the presidential elections is a conspiracy against the Lebanese people, the president and the tenure, pointing out that the powers of the presidency cannot be handed over to a caretaker government.

Sayyed's comments were made after his meeting with President Michel Aoun at the Baabda Presidential Palace, where he discussed with Aoun political and economic affairs, the security situation in Baalbek-Hermel and the post-parliamentary elections.
