Najib Mikati named PM-designate

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati was designated on Thursday to form new government, with 54 votes.

However, former Ambassador to the U.N. Nawaf Salam received 25 votes, while 46 MPs abstained from naming any candidate.
