Sleiman holds several meetings in Baabda, discusses current issues

President Michel Sleiman met on Monday with Social Affairs Minister Wael Abou Faour. The two discussed the situation of the Syrian and Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and the necessity of reiterating Lebanon’s position in regards to receiving them, while remaining adamant on their return in due time.

Sleiman also received Palestinian Ambassador to Lebanon Ashraf Dabbour who informed the president about the measures taken in the camps to host the different Palestinian refugees who have now come from Syria.

Separately, Sleiman discussed the security situation with Interior Minister Marwan Charbel and the preparations for oil exploration tenders with Energy Minister Gebran Bassil.
