Abi Lamaa to LBCI: March 8th call for dialogue is suspicious

Member of the executive committee of the Lebanese Forces party, Eddy Abi Lamaa, said in an interview with LBCI’s Nharkom Said TV show that the assassinations in Lebanon are not random, stressing that the assassination attempt of MP Boutros Harb made March 14 doubt the current cabinet and accuse it of covering the criminals after refusing to surrender the suspect in this case.

On the National Dialogue issue, Abi Lamaa stated that the repercussions Lebanon is facing are related to Hezbollah’s arms, emphasizing that the dialogue is unnecessary when a Lebanese party refuses to discuss the issue of its weapons.

Abi Lamaa then added that March 8 is responsible for the dialogue’s termination and the groups current call to resume dialogue is “suspicious”.

On the Syrian crisis, Abi Lamaa said that the Syrian regime is illegitimate, hoping that Syria will become a democratic state.
