LAF: Suspicious security apparatuses collect information from Lebanon to recruit agents

Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued a statement on Friday in which it revealed that foreign suspicious security apparatuses are using digital intelligence to collect information from Lebanon via different means, including SMS, and websites to recruit agents. These apparatuses are also spreading hacking worms to collect information from computer networks and devices.

The command stressed that these actions violate national sovereignty as well as the security and privacy of the citizens who must be made aware to the "dangers that these devices pose," urging them to immediately report suspicious text messages and websites.
