Ghosn: I was not asked to postpone the strike
The head of the General Confederation of Lebanese Workers Ghassan Ghosn said that Wednesday’s strike will not be canceled unless a proper plan is presented to adjust wages.

Ghosn told Nharkom Said TV show on LBC that a meeting will be hold today to discuss the details of the strike that might include marches and gatherings at the Grand Serial calling on the security forces to protect their demonstration tomorrow.

Ghosn added that during his meeting with President Michel Sleiman on Tuesday that he was not asked to postpone or cancel the strike but to discuss with the stakeholders to reach a possible solution.
