Professional thief passed off as good Samaritan

The ISF’s General Directorate – Public Relations Department, announced on Monday that a citizen was arrested in the area of Nehme after several people filed complaints against him accusing him of stealing.

The arrestee confessed, explaining that he had persuaded people by passing off as an Arab national whom allegedly collects money for a social organization. He first gives his “share” of the money he supposedly is “donating”, only to come back later and pick it up along with the amount the people wish to donate.

In this context, the ISF’s General Directorate urged citizens who recognize the man and were victims of his forgery to report to the barracks of Martyr Mustafa Ali Hassan in Ouzai or contact the following numbers: 01-842403 and 01-842405.
