Shatah: March 14 alliances remain strong

Following his meeting with LF leader Samir Geagea, Mohammad Shatah, the consultant of Former PM Saad Hariri, said that his visit to Mehrab aims at discussing electoral law proposals, the formation of a Senate and enhancing the alliance between the Future Movement and the Lebanese Forces party.

In his statements following this meeting, Shatah addressed the Lebanese Christian community, stating that "their rights remain preserved".

He also stressed that March 14's alliances remain strong despite the different points of view the political parties in the bloc have over the issue of the electoral law.

Shatah then reiterated the Future Movement's rejection to applying the proportionality system during the upcoming parliamentary elections.
