Dispute in Mar Elias leaves 2 injured

A dispute erupted on Wednesday evening in Beirut’s neighborhood of Mar Elias between the Islamic Group and Amal Movement on the backdrop of distributing sweets on the occasion of the prophet's Birthday (Eid Mawlid al-Nabawi).

2 persons from the Islamic Group were injured and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

It is worth noting that Security Forces worked on containing the dispute and maintaining calm in the region.
