Jumblatt: Gathering around the Syrian National Coalition is vital

Head of the National Struggle Front MP Walid Jumblatt praised on Monday the stance of the Syrian opposition chief Moaz al-Khatib pertaining to his attempt to save Syria from the crisis and from the regime which is "killing its people".

During his weekly stance to Al-Anbaa newspaper, Jumblatt said that gathering around Al-Khatib and the Syrian National Coalition is important in light of the daily crimes that the regime is committing.

Jumblatt denounced the Israeli air raid on Syria and said that "it is ironic to say that this raid threatens Syrian stability".

"As if Syria is living in prosperity and peace," Jumblatt scoffed.
