France's Macron urges restraint on Lebanese-Israeli border as he calls for implementing Resolution 1701

In a statement regarding the risks of regional escalation, French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his concern about the growing tensions on the Lebanese-Israeli border.

He urged for restraint and the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701 by all parties.

"France remains fully committed to preventing any risk of escalation on the Blue Line and promoting a diplomatic solution," the Elysée Palace mentioned in its statement.
