REPORT: Minister Charbel: Parliamentary elections' candidatures accepted as of Monday

Interior Minister Marwan Charbel issued on Friday a memorandum in which he declared that candidatures for the upcoming parliamentary elections will be accepted as of Monday, March 11 up until Wednesday, April 11.

The memorandum added that the deadline to submit applications to cancel candidatures will end on April 25, 2013.

In this context, Charbel told LBCI that the date of the elections cannot be postpones, unless the mandate of the Parliament was extended, which will require the passing of law or a decree.
