Mass rally against domestic violence

Women’s associations alongside youth and civil associations staged on Sunday a rally from UNESCO’s headquarter toward the Interior Ministry in order to sow the seeds of equality and grant the Lebanese Women the full citizenship.

In this regard, the demonstrators called for the adoption of the law that protects Women from domestic violence as well as for allowing Women to pass their nationality to their children, adding that they should be supported in terms of taking political stances and eliminating all forms of discrimination.
