Moussawi: Prisoners swap is a victory for the resistance

MP Nawaf Moussawi said that neither the UN nor international alliances can return rights and lands to prisoners, but with a rifle in one hand the resistance can assume this task. “The prisoners swap between Hamas movement and Israel was a political victory for the resistance”, Moussawi added.

During a ceremony organized by Hamas in honor of the freed Palestinian prisoners in Burj al-Shamali Palestinian refugee camp, Moussawi stressed that the only way to recover the rights of the Arabs and the Muslims is through the weapons of the resistance.

“We will always stand with the Palestinians in their quest to recover their rights and their occupied lands”, Moussawi said. Osama Hamdan, a senior official in the Hamas International relations department said that efforts will continue to free the remaining prisoners. “Talks about negotiations should stop because only the fighters blood will determine the national path”, Moussawi said.
