Geagea: Hezbollah has a global political agenda

The head of the Lebanese Forces Samir Geagea mentioned that Special Tribunal for Lebanon was not to exist without the constant and daily efforts of March 14 forces either in the cabinet, the Parliament and the popular movement and pressure.

Geagea said that Hezbollah is still on his position refusing any decision related to the STL’s funding causing a political instability in the country.

Geagea in an interview to “Al-Etihad” newspaper said that Hezbollah’s aim and political agenda are much broader and bigger than Lebanon and are related to Islamic powers all over the globe.

Geagea accused Hezbollah of trying to lay its hand on security forces in the country translated into his constant attack on the Internal Security Forces (ISF) and its commander Ashraf Rifi.

He stressed on the important role of the current opposition to hold accountable any decision of the current government.
