Gemayel warns against Hezbollah’s dominance

Senior member of the Kataeb Party MP Sami Gemayel said that no one has the right to establish private telecommunication systems and cables in Lebanon as such actions are illegitimate and deny the existence of the state.

Gemayel added that Hezbollah does not recognize the rights of the state and that sections of the Lebanese people oppose their political program. Gemayel at a Kataeb dinner in Baalbek pointed out that no issue can draw our attention from the dignity, freedom and safety of the Christian areas, adding that the Kataeb are not an obstacle to any reform in Lebanon but support the establishment of a functioning government.
