Speaker Berri meets US envoy Connelly over current juncture

Speaker Nabih Berri met on Thursday in Ain el-Tineh with the US ambassador to Lebanon Maura Connelly.

Connelly stressed the importance of carrying out the upcoming parliamentary elections on their due time, adding that the "process of forming a new government is and must remain Lebanese".

Berri also met with Caretaker Foreign Affairs minister Adnan Mansour who briefed him on the Arab Summit which took place in Doha.
