AUB hospital: Speaker Berri’s surgery ends successfully

The American University Hospital announced on Saturday that Speaker Nabih Berri was admitted on Friday night to the hospital where he underwent a minor surgery to remove liver stones, and added that the Physician Mohammad Jawad Khalife performed the surgery that “ended successfully”.

On another note, Berri's media office explained that the Speaker was back home on Saturday morning, noting that he thanked everyone who wished him well, and apologized for not being able to receive any well-wishers during his recovery period.
