Saudi Ambassador meets with Cardinal Rai and Mikati

Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Awad Asiri, held a meeting on Thursday at Bkerke with Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rai whereby he called on all parties, high-ranking officials as well as the Lebanese people to work hand in hand for a better future.

Asiri stressed the need to safeguard Lebanon from all potential hazards, calling on all Lebanese officials to resort to dialogue to ease prevailing tensions in the country.

"Lebanon should serve as a model for coexistence and dialogue for the entire middle east," he said.

On another note, Saudi Ambassador met also with the Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati at the Grand Serail and tackled current developments.
