Various figures congratulate PM-Designate Salam

Various political and high-ranking figures arrived on Sunday at the residence of Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam in Wata el-Msaytbeh to congratulate him after he won endorsements from across the political spectrum.

Among the visitors was the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi who reiterated his country’s Lebanon peace and stability.

Salam was tasked with forming the new cabinet after 124 deputies nominated him during parliamentary consultations held on the 5th and 6th of April under the auspices of President Michel Sleiman.
