Flare bomb found in South Lebanon

The state run National News Agency reported on Tuesday that a bomb was found in the South region of Khellet Fouwar, located between the towns of Hallousieh, Bidias, and Deir Qanoun.

The bomb was set for explosion via a 12 V battery, and was found near a tree and linked to an electrical wire.

A Lebanese Army unit rushed to the scene but no further information were given in this regard.

Later, reports confirmed that the UXO was merely an outdated flare bomb.
