President Aoun insists on central bank appointment as PM Salam rejects Karim Souaid's nomination

President Joseph Aoun is determined to raise the appointment of a new central bank governor in Thursday's cabinet session, stressing that the move is crucial for initiating financial reforms, sources told LBCI. However, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam remains opposed to the nomination of Karim Souaid.
