MP Torsarkissian to LBCI: Parliament’s subcommittee will proceed in its work

MP Serge Torsarkissian said on Monday that the Parliament’s subcommittee tasked with discussing the electoral law will proceed in its work until a new electoral law is reached.

MP Torsarkissian told LBCI, that members of the subcommittee represent political parties stressing that a result will soon be achieved if these political parties have the intention to agree upon a new law.

As for the electoral draft presented by Former Minister Fouad Boutros, MP Sarkissian said that this draft law is totally rejected by Ashrafieh’s MPs since it includes areas not related to Ashrafieh such as the region of Medawar.
