Hariri denounces Hezbollah’s participation in the Syrian crisis

Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri said that Hezbollah’s actions in Syria are a crime against Lebanon and a crime against Syria and its people calling on Lebanese factions to reject interference in the crisis.

Hariri expressed his rejection to all calls made to participate in Jihad operations in Syria and warned that such calls aim at accomplishing the goal of Syrian President Bashar Assad.

Hariri stressed that Hezbollah’s participation in the Syrian crisis is an involvement to defend the Syrian regime regardless of its circumstances.

On another note, Hariri denounced the kidnapping of Bishops Boulos Yazigi of the Greek Orthodox Church and John Ibrahim of the Assyrian Orthodox Church and considered that such terrorist actions are against the aim of the Syrian revolution.

Bishop Boulos Yazigi of the Greek Orthodox Church and John Ibrahim of the Assyrian Orthodox Church were abducted as they traveled from the Turkish border to the city of Aleppo on Monday. Their driver was killed. It was not immediately clear who was responsible.
