MP Khoury to LBCI: Syrian withdrawal from Lebanon is of great importance

Change and Reform Bloc MP Walid Khoury stressed on Saturday that the Syrian withdrawal from Lebanon is of great significance to the Free Patriotic Movement whose resistance still stands on the ground.             

Khoury added that Lebanon has always been a desire that all sides, but the situation; however, has changed and the Syrian crisis does not allow an intervention in Lebanon’s matters.            

Khoury also stressed to LBCI during Nharkom Said that “the Syrian crisis can only be resolved through dialogue and politics and that it is normal for the Syrian regime to fight any side trying to topple it and fight its army”.          

On another note, Khoury considered Israel as the basic enemy, adding that there has been an organized flow of armed men from Lebanon to Syria long before the issue of Hezbollah’s intervention in the al-Qussair battles.           

Khoury also called on waiting for Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's speech on the 9th of May.
