REPORT: Protesters warn against filing complaint against constitutional council's officials

At least 15 persons staged on Saturday a sit-in outside the constitutional council, claiming that they won by acclamation after they submitted their candidatures within the well-specified delays set by the Interior Ministry.

In this context, the protesters said that their demonstration outside the said council comes since "Caretaker Interior Minister Marwan Charbel did not fix them a date".

The demonstrators held the council accountable for refusing to register their petitions, warning against filing a complaint against the council's officials.

It is worth noting that 52 applicants submitted their candidatures before the 10th of April, noting that the number has reached now 106 applicants.
