Citizen suffers nervous breakdown, kills his mother

37-year-old Lebanese citizen, identified as B.A., killed on Monday his mother, Edel Lahoud, in the Bnahli valley in Chouf, after he suffered a nervous breakdown leading him to hit her on the head with a sharp object.

Investigations have shown that the murderer had been imprisoned for killing his brother's wife 14 years ago where he was receiving treatment for having mental disorders leading him to cut off prisoners' ears.

It is worth noting that the killer was released from prison 5 months ago.

The security forces were able to arrest the criminal after obtaining the details.
