MP Sami Gemayel: Syria nurturing terrorism and violence

The political bureau of the Kataeb party held on Tuesday a meeting during which it praised Lebanese factions efforts deployed to reach a common ground pertaining to an electoral draft law.

MP Gemayed reiterated on behalf of the party the need to abide by the Baabda Declaration and make it "illegal" for Lebanese leaders to breach its articles.

On Syria, MP Gemayel warned against any intervention in the Syrian crisis, urging Lebanon to stay neutral towards all regional crisis.

He also slammed the kidnapping of the two bishops in Syria's Aleppo, saying that Christians are paying the price in Syria.

MP Gemayel added that Syria became a country "nurturing terrorism and continuous violence."
