Arslan: Speaker Berri is keen on national reconciliation

Head of the Lebanese Democratic Party, MP Talal Arslan said on Saturday that Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri is keen on the national reconciliation, adding that he previously called for supporting Speaker Berri in order to solve various disputes.

Following a meeting with Speaker Berri held in Ain el-Tineh, Arslan pointed out that Berri called for parliamentary sessions in order to reach common grounds in regards to the electoral law, and wished on all political factions to refrain from creating a negative atmosphere in the country.

Arslan added that Lebanon cannot bear anymore biddings since the gap among political factions is increasing, adding that the General Authority session on the 15th of May will prove the honesty of political factions.
