MP Houry to LBCI: Voting on the Orthodox Gathering's draft law is unconstitutional

Future MP Ammar Houry noted on Tuesday that voting on the Orthodox Gathering's draft law "breaches the constitution", adding that this draft law will drift the country towards "a dangerous destination."

MP Houry's remarks came during a phone call with LBCI Nharkom Said TV show in which he asserted that Speaker Berri did not hold discussions with the Parliament's Bureau before issuing the agenda of Wednesday's General Authority session.

He added that "political and national quorum" will not be reached during the General Authority session.
