Lebanon: hotspot for Arab tourists once more

Tourists are flocking to Lebanon on the eve of Eid al Adha. The hotel room reservations exceeded all expectations, especially in Beirut.

Arabs and Gulf residents chose Lebanon to spend their Eid al-Adha holidays, and MEA bookings registered a 10% increase on all flights.

More than 12,000 hotel rooms in Beirut and its suburbs are expected to be filled with tourists during the Eid al-Adha holiday, in addition to the many furnished apartments available.

The challenge facing the tourism sector remains making this touristic revival permanent, not seasonal.
