Hezbollah, Israeli forces clash in Ainata–Maroun al-Ras–Bint Jbeil area as push toward Bint Jbeil intensifies

Heavy clashes are ongoing across the Aainata – Maroun El Ras – Bint Jbeil area between Hezbollah and the Israeli army, which is attempting to advance into the area to encircle the town of Bint Jbeil from the villages of Aainata, Kounine, and Al-Tiri toward the Saf al-Hawa area overlooking the town.

Hezbollah has targeted the advancing forces with suicide drones and rocket fire.

For its part, the Israeli army shelled the area with heavy 155mm artillery and carried out a series of airstrikes on the outskirts of Bint Jbeil and the Saf al-Hawa area.

In the same context, Hezbollah targeted an Israeli force advancing in the areas of Rshaf and Beit Lif with guided missiles, reportedly inflicting casualties.
