Israeli army claims Hezbollah operatives killed in strikes in southern Lebanon

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said the military carried out strikes in southern Lebanon after monitoring what it described as Hezbollah activity near Israeli forces.

In a post on X, Adraee said the Israeli army’s 146th Division detected two Hezbollah members entering a building near troops operating in southern Lebanon and accused them of ‘’planning an attack against the forces.’’

He added that the Israeli Air Force subsequently targeted the building, killing the two operatives.

Adraee also said Israeli strikes targeted Hezbollah infrastructure and a weapons depot, adding that additional militants whom the army considered a threat to its forces were also killed.
