Israeli military says alleged Hezbollah violation triggers over 100 strikes across Lebanon

The Israeli military claimed that Hezbollah violated the ceasefire and attempted to prevent Israeli forces from completing what it described as the destruction of capabilities the group had built over the years. It added that Israeli forces responded with force.

Over the past several hours, the Israeli army said it had struck more than 100 Hezbollah targets across Lebanon, including in the Bekaa and Nabatieh regions. It said dozens of members were killed in the strikes.

The military said its forces are operating with full operational freedom to eliminate threats in all areas, adding that the chief of staff had instructed units in the field to deploy all available capabilities. It stressed that it would not allow any party to threaten Israel.
