Three bodies found, police look for a link between murders

A thirty-year-old male was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head at Corniche an-Nahr. The man's corpse is presently at the military hospital for autopsy and Beirut police believe the murder was motivated by car theft.

Also, a forty-year-old man was found dead in Boushriyyeh Dam under similar circumstances i.e.(with a single bullet-hole to the head) The dead man's body was transferred to a local hospital with police striving to establish possible links between the two murders.

In Maqdisi Str. Hamra, a twenty one-year-old youth received multiple stabbings by an unknown assailant leaving him in an extremely critical condition.

He is being hospitalized at az-Zahra hospital with police investigating motives behind the attempted murder.
