Cairo clashes kills 10, calls for government resignation
Bloody clashes between Egyptian troops and protesters in the capital Cairo were witnessed over the weekend. Video footage from Al Jazeera English showed soldiers beating up protesters, including two women.

Soldiers were seen dragging a female protester along the ground, and stripping her clothes off to reveal her midriff. Nearby, another protester was kicked and beaten with batons. At one point an army officer moves toward protesters and fires a pistol at them.

It was not clear from the footage whether he was using live ammunition as medical sources told AP that more than 10 people were killed and 500 others injured.

Another woman who tries to help the partially undressed woman lying on the ground is knocked over and beaten up by soldiers who advance on the crowd.
