Let us pray for peace in Israel and Palestine: Pope Francis

Pope Francis called on Sunday for a halt to "armed attacks" in Israel, emphasizing the necessity of "peace in Israel and Palestine."

He also affirmed that he is closely following with concern and sorrow what is happening in Israel, where violence is erupting again rapidly, causing hundreds of deaths and injuries.
