Israel anticipates challenging new phase in Gaza war, stays committed to objectives

Eylon Levy, the spokesperson for the Israeli government, said on Tuesday that Israel expects tough fighting in the new phase of its war in Gaza.

However, it remains open to any "positive suggestion" regarding minimizing harm to civilians as long as the advice aligns with its goal of destroying Hamas.

He added in a briefing to journalists, "We are moving forward in the second stage now. It will be a challenging military phase."
