Israeli airstrikes target military site in southern Syria

Israeli airstrikes targeted a Syrian army site in southern Syria early Friday, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, while Israel launched an attack on Iran, according to US media reports.

The observatory reported that "the strikes occurred in the area between Suwayda and Daraa, coinciding with intensive Israeli aircraft flights without any air defense missiles," adding that "the area lies between Ezraa and Qarfa, where a radar battalion is located."
