Turkish court convicts Syrian woman of involvement in Istanbul bombing

Demirören News Agency and other media outlets reported that a Turkish court on Friday sentenced Syrian woman Ahlam al-Bashir to life in prison concerning a 2022 bombing that killed six people on a main shopping street in Istanbul.

The explosion, which occurred on November 13, 2022, killed six Turks and injured dozens on a street crowded with shoppers and tourists.
