REPORT: Israel invests natural gas found offshore

Tel Aviv kicked off investments concerning the discovery of natural gas after the Lebanese opposition eased against the Israeli declaration that it had discovered large amounts of natural gas in both fields of Tamar and Leviathan in the Mediterranean Sea.

In this regard, Israel described this discovery as a treasure which will boost its economy and strategic entity in the region.

This report will shed light on the stance of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding this economic development and the changes introduced to Israel’s defense strategies following this discovery.
