REPORT: Aoun, Sleiman break the ice, hold meeting

Following the ups and downs in the relations between the head of the Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun and President Michel Sleiman, the current political, security and regional circumstances on the national and Christian levels, imposed a rapprochement between the two parties.

Accordingly, the Lebanese President invited Aoun to a meeting at the Baabda Presidential Palace which lasted 40 minutes where they attempted to open a new page in their relation.

This report will highlight the main topics tackled during the meeting, including the issue of the cabinet as well as relations with Hezbollah.
